Today, in my Mac OS X SANE user interface project, I began looking
into what to do with the data I've been able to retrieve from the
scanner. Looks like this is going to be a tough climb, according to
what I read in section 3.2 of the API. It would seem that "scanimage"
contains the facility for translating SANE image data into standard
image format(s) (e.g., TIFF) -- is the source code for scanimage
available somewhere? I've searched around but haven't found it yet.
Also: there is a dynamic library called "libsane.dylib" that was
installed by one of the SANE packages. Is there documentation
available for this library? I'm hoping it has callable routines
that'll do what I need.<br>
