Hi ,

I am looking to add new brightness and contrast range from backend
code. If it is possible how can I do this.

I am using xsane as my frontend and it supports -100 to +100
range. I need range in -60 to +60. If possible to add new range how it would be
different from xsane range.

I have tried to add range in backend code but UI will display
brightness and contrast in Standard option window and brightness is not working.
It would be of great help if I got information on this.
