<div dir="ltr">I have a Canon Canoscan N1220U that stopped working on my office computer a couple months ago after an update (running Mint 16 Cinnamon). I had intermittent issues with it not working in the past, sometimes having to unplug the scanner or re-start the computer, depending on which OS I had installed at the time (various Ubuntu or Mint installations), but now I cannot get it to work at all. I tried plugging the scanner into one of my other machines (running mint 13 MATE) and it works just fine (works with simplescan, xsane, and sane-find-scanner gives the expected output), so I know it's not an issue with the scanner, cord, or USB port (I tested multiple USB ports with several devices and the scanner is the only device not playing nice). All updates are current (all stable releases).<div>
