[Soc-coordination] [libdebctrl and qt4-debconf] Progress Report Week 12

Hi all:

Right now I'm unfortunately stuck on some rather serious issues which
are blocking the full completion of both libdebctrl and perlqt4.

I've been working on getting qt4-debconf to work and right now it
compiles properly. The demo runs but then just hangs and I'm trying to
figure out why. So far I've ported all the code over to Qt4 though; it
was made a bit more complicated by the lack of comments on the Qt3
Debconf files I began working with.

As for libdebctrl, many of the serious issues have been worked out.
One thing that is outstanding is figuring out how to wrap text
properly so that I can output data. I already have some ideas of where
to go with this, but the most important long-term goal I have (which
is beyond the scope of my GSoC implementation) is to implement Knuth's
paragraphing algorithm to wrap long fields (like Description), which
will result in better looking control files.

I apologize for the short report, but I'd much like to get back to
work and figure out the remaining issues with a basic implementation
of qt4 debconf at least. I'm still hopeful I can deliver my proposals
on time; they've both ended up a lot more complicated than previously
thought.

Cheers,

Jonathan
