Splashy will cause the boot process to stop at the very<br>early stage of init scripts,but I do not know where exactly<br>it stops,because reset the computer is the only thing I can<br>do when it hangs. <br><br>it boots ok with splashy disabled or use CONCURRENCY=none<br>
<br>since sysv-rc began to depend on insserv and made parallel <br>booting the default,splashy stops working , So I switched to<br>usplash for a while, it works ok with parallel booting,but it<br>does not work well during halt or reboot,it always chvt to tty1<br>
and prints out the verbose message.<br><br>So I switch back to splashy again only to find that it still <br>does not work with parallel booting.<br><br>I will try to figure out at which exact point the boot process<br>stops but I don't know how to do that for now.<br>
