Hello.

I've finally done the web pages for surfraw.

They aren't especially pretty (but are valid HTML 4.01 transitional),
feel free to improve them, but it's a start.

I've checked them into CVS, directory web/

Theres a Makefile and some (possibly unnecessarily complicated, I
should have probably used an existing HTML template engine) scripts.

There's a web/README.WEB in CVS that briefly explains it.

the 'make install' target needs configuring to copy the web pages to
wherever they live.

the current surfraw version lives in web/dist/
old versions live in web/dist/old/

If you add binaries to CVS you need to use

cvs add -kb filename

to avoid cvs mangling the files.

I've prepared a version 2.0.2-2 (cvs tag surfraw_2-0-2_2) with Brian
McDonald's suggested bash completion fix of:

--- surfraw-bash-completion     15 Aug 2004 19:16:48 -0000      1.4
+++ surfraw-bash-completion     14 Sep 2004 19:19:09 -0000
@@ -27 +27 @@
-type -p surfraw >&- && complete -F _surfraw surfraw sr
+type -p surfraw >/dev/null 2>&1 && complete -F _surfraw surfraw sr

As I assume we now have to go via testing-proposed-updates to get
2.0.2-2 into sarge, I've set debian/changelog appropriately (and with
urgency high), but someone check before uploading that I've done it
right.

Also, as I don't have access to sarge and can't reproduce the
completion bug, can someone on sarge check it is actually fixed.

I've also done a version 2.1.0 (cvs tag surfraw_2-1-0_1), with 5 new
elvi (dmoz, w3html, w3link, w3css, w3rdf) as a non-debian-native
package, which can be the new release on the website.

2.1.0 is in the web CVS, in dist/
2.0.2-2 is in dist/old/

Incidently, in URLs, does anyone know when to quote space as '%20' and
when to quote it as '+'? I can't find anything that explains this
definitively. I'm not sure if w3_url_escape in surfraw.IN is correct
(it currently quotes it as %20)

Ian.
