Hi,
I'd like to suggest to remove the debconfage, now that Sarge has been
released the new elvi behaviour in the standard of a stable release,
it's no longer really useful and removing it prevents useless
translatation efforts and minimizes the overhead.
If noone objects I'll remove it next week and move the relevant bits
into README.Debian
