Hi,

I'm not really familiar with macos, but in theory downloading the
tarball and then running from a terminal:

tar xzvf surfraw-2.2.6.tar.gz
cd surfraw-2.2.6
./configure
make
sudo make install

should work. What is the actual problem?

You could also try using a packaging system like macports (macports.org)
or fink (finkproject.org) to install surfraw, but note that macports has
an old version (2.2.1) and fink has an *ancient* version (1.0.7).

Ian.
