  Applied.  Now it is in the tree someone else may even help improve it
for you :)

  There is a step-by-step guide for adding new elvis in the HACKING
file.  It details the changes to the build system and documentation that
are needed when adding new elvis to the repository, it may be of use if
you plan to submit more elvis(please do!).  Specifically for adding
tests, the elvi author is much more likely to have useful tests to
contribute.

  This is another reason I like patches on the list, even for single
file additions.  Being able to "git am" your email is great
