Subject: Deployment help for a Django project on Blends

Hi Enrico,

I have been developing a web interface for teammetrics project in
Django. We are almost done with the project and now need to deploy
this on the blends machine (blends.debian.net). Andreas and I have
tried deploying this on the blends machine but we were unsuccessful.

If you get some free time, could you please look into this and help us
with the deployment.

We have mod_wsgi running on blends.
The code is located in /var/lib/teammetrics/web/
WSGI entry point is /var/lib/teammetrics/web/teammetrics.wsgi
The minimal apache configuration that we have used is at
/etc/teammetrics/apache.conf

I have run the django app on the development server in Blends and
checked the results with a terminal browser. Hence we know that it is
a configuration issue and not a code issue.

When we tried deploying it, we get a 500 and no entry in the server
logs. The project may run if deployed successfully as many of the
local configuration is not set yet. Getting a debug message on the
server should be considered a successful deployment! I'll fix up the
local settings soon.

If you need anything please do mail me. Thanks :)

PS: Andreas has given you the sudo privilege for your account on the
blends machine.
