"Followup: The screen stays dark after installation. (Up till now, no
possibility of changing this). TuxMath works fine in the guest system.
The problem lies somewhere in setting up the screen. Thanks for the

Hoffentlich es ist nicht Ubuntu, dass etwas gebrochen hat! Haben Sie
TuxMath mit apt-get oder aptitude installiert? Und fuehren Sie das
Programm mit dem Terminal, oder anders? Probieren Sie ein Paar Dinge:
Starten Sie das Programm vom Terminal also:
tuxmath --version
tuxmath -w
Also, *etwas* soll geschrieben werden. Koennten Sie erklaeren, was das
"Gastsystem" ist? Ich verstehe ganz nicht.

Hopefully it's not Ubuntu that broke something! Did you install
TuxMath with apt-get or aptitude? And, do you run it from the terminal
or another way? Try a few things: start the program from the terminal
like this:
tuxmath --version
tuxmath -w
This way *something* should print out. Could you explain what the
"guest system" is? I don't quite understand.
