[Tux4kids-discuss] GSoC participation Information

Hello!
I am Shreyas Iyer. For this year’s GSoC program, I have decided to contribute to Tux4Kids applications. Can I know, if the applications/games can be made in a custom game engine, or should we make one from scratch? And is using Java absolutely necessary for creating android-based ports? Can’t I use my engine for that? Thanks.
