Hi,

I submitted an application to the Google Summer of Code through the web
interface. In case this is useful, I send here a copy of the abstract.
Other information (schedule, bio, motivation) should be available to
mentors through the web interface.

Regards,

David Dallet

Copy of the abstract:

What I propose for this project is basically nothing new in term of
ideas, just implementing ideas already present at
http://www.tuxpaint.org/gsoc2008-ideas.html .

My proposal consists mainly in two tasks:
* "In-game support for editing word lists and practice sentences."
* "Use GNU gettext for localization, instead of homebrew stuff."

The first task is probably the one that should be more detailed. For me
"In-game support" does clearly mean that this word list and practice
sentences editor should be both user-friendly and visually with a look
relevant with the rest of the software.

The second task proposed is probably understandable in one sentence so I
don't add extra details.

In case I would finish those proposal too early (I mean after having
tested and commented correctly the code), I may continue by improving
some minor points or by testing and fixing bug in the software,
according to what could be relevant this summer (adding more content
could be an option).
