One more thing,

I forgot - I also updated src/Makefile.am to make sure it was setting
DATA_PREFIX, so    it still might not work if you just edit setup.c as
mentioned above.  It should work in the next tarball, though.

btw, the tarball is just made by doing a "make dist_with_fonts", so if
you want to see if this works in BeOS but don't have autotools
working, do a svn co in linux and do

autoreconf -i
./configure
make
make dist_with_fonts

and you should have a tarball you can try in BeOS
