Hi,

My name is Lukasz Maliszewski, a fourth year computer science student
from the Technical University of Gdansk in Poland.

I would like to participate in GSoC and work on one of Your Tux4Kids
projects. I found Tux4Kids project very interesting because of it's
educational purpose
combined with great fun for kids (and not only kids ;)).

C is a language I know very well, as I had a very solid training on
the first and second year of my studies. Computer games are things
which I have always wanted to develop. I have some experience in
writing games. Mainly it was projects for academic classes but few of
them were really advanced (e.g. full 3D multi player game written in
C#). Unfortunately I don't have experience in working with SDL
libraries but I hope it will not be a problem because I am a quick
learner. About my experience and programming skills I hope we will
have a chance to talk later after I will become more familiar with
Tux4Kids project.

While looking through the ideas list my attention was riveted by Tux
Typing project idea: Refactor code base to use libt4Kcommon. With no
doubt a good idea to show You my involvement and programming skills
would be writing some code for Tux Typing project. But to do so,
because of a short description of a problem, I would like You to be
more specific about the goal. I would appreciate any directions about
what exactly I could implement to get closer to be a part of Tux4Kids
team.

Best regards,
Lukasz Maliszewski
