Anthony,<br><br>I can't tell exactly what's going on from the information you gave, but if you haven't already, I'd make sure that Pango didn't installed to some weird location (though I don't know why it would), and try a build without Pango in the meantime.<br>

I am having trouble building from source. Here is the output of the ./configure<br>

I am not sure what to do about SDL_Pango - I have installed pango<br>
through apt-get install libsdl-pango-dev and apt-get install<br>
libsdl-pango1.<br>
