According to:

... the gdebi .desktop file specifies an invalid icon value of:

  gnome-mime-application-x-deb

This is affecting users of PureOS, a Debian derivative:

  https://tracker.pureos.net/T257

... but also affect Debian itself. :)  The preceding link has more
details from Matthias.

As other .desktop file does not violate this check; the easy fix might
be to just copy that one's value.
