        Some do. Some take time getting accepted (make releases less
 often than Debian). I've carried mailagent patches for 10 years until
 they got accepted. Some represent a disagreement between upstream and
 me. So those features remain a Debian only feature.  I also keep stuff
 required by Debian policy in distinct feature branches -- often, these
 are not feasible upstream, since not all other distributions conform to
 Debian policy.
