[Virtual-pkg-base-maintainers] Bug#684306: Memory Stick

Hello,
Actually this:
[ 4375.765801] r592: IRQ: card added
[
4376.519845] memstick0: switching to 4-bit parallel mode
[ 4376.523049]
mspblk0: p1
means that card has been detected and now is accessible
via /dev/mspblk0, and its first partition via /dev/mspblk0p1.
If you run
sudo fdisk /dev/mspblk0 you'll see all information.
I decided to join
the discussion, because I have two such cards. One is working flawlessly
(as in the log above), and the second one looks like this:
[
4142.279105] r592: IRQ: card added
[ 4142.279152] r592: IRQ: card
added
[ 4142.776095] r592: IRQ: card removed
And there is no block
device created for it, it doesn't exists in /dev tree, nor /sys/block,
doesn't get symbolic name (something like mspblk...), BUT it's working
flawlessly in handheld camera. I'd appreciate any comments or
suggestions.
Peter.
