<p align="left"><font face="Verdana" size="2">This weeks Torah parsha is
Vayeira. " And Abraham arose early in the morning, and he saddled his
donkey, and he took his two young men with him and Isaac his son; and he
split wood for a burnt offering, and he arose and went to the place of
which God had told him.<br>
<br>
On the third day, Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place from
afar.<br>
And Abraham said to his young men, "Stay here with the donkey, and I and
the lad will go yonder, and we will prostrate ourselves and return to
you." (Ber 22:3,5) <br>
The Sages state that Abraham and Isaac went with two other men. When
they came close to the "place", Abraham asked the two other men what
they saw and they said they saw nothing holy just mundane. On the other
hand, Abraham and Isaac saw the place where the Temple would be built
and the apex of everything holy for the Jewish People. And Abraham told
the two other men not to proceed any further.<br>
<br>
Most people live very simple mundane lives with no vision. The purpose
of the Jewish Defence League is to provide vision for the Jewish People.
One of our roles is to study anti Jewish/Israel trends and to alert the
masses to our information. The anti Jewish/Israel International
Conference sponsored by York University and Queens University is part of
a new campaign to deny the right of the Jewish People to their own
Jewish State. As a result of JDL exposure, many donors and academics are
asking questions about this conference. And we will continue to expose
and contact donors to these universities.<br>
<br>
On Thursday November 20 at 12:00 noon, the JDL will picket York
University at the main Keele Street entrance. We are asking people to
bring flags and signs and to spread this message. <br>
