This is sparc64, not sparc.  Did you use "sparc" ones in the past few
years, or only sparc64?

But well, all in all I am pretty sure that if this was happening for a
long time for such a basic functionality, there should have been more
complaints; so I think that it's safe to close the bug report
nevertheless.
