Luca Niccoli (32):
Only grep hotkeys that we actually handle; this reduces the potential for conflict with other acpid rules.
Move SHE handling from acpid to pm-utils; call pm-utils if a power manager isn't running like acpi-support does
remove /etc/pm/sleep.d/eeepc-acpi-scripts; it has never been even installed
8324e609831150f055a482acab3e3d640a62ee14 left out older kernel; grep only hotkeys that we actually manage on those too.
Remove acpi events and actions that will be handled by acpi-support
Remove suspend support; it will be handled by acpi-support
Turn off volume handling by default, since it conflicts with most desktop environment.
Stop conflicting with acpi-support; depend on it.
Remove ac event and script; they're already in acpi-support
Move file around not to mark scripts as conffiles and to keep a more organized structure.
Update debian/control and maintainer scripts for the migration to acpi-support: get rid of old conffiles, conflict and replace old eeepc-acpi-support
Update also the init script for the new file locations.
test if eeepc-laptop is loaded at the beginning of each acpi-script, just to be sure that we're on an eee.
Get rid of the wireless toggle handling, now managed by acpi-support; just make sure that the proper script is called also on kernels that dont generate a WLAN button event.
Get rid of the wireless toggle handling, now managed by acpi-support; just make sure that the proper script is called also on kernels that dont generate a WLAN button event.
We don't need to conflict with ourselves, after all.
Don't deal with brightness events, they are managed by the bios and we don't show the OSD anymore.
Use notify-send for notifications
Adjust dependencies to the new notificaton system.
Add a NEWS entry about the fact that acpi-support now manages lid events
Only suggest alsa-utils and libnotify-bin (the former is not used by default anymore, and the latter is used only for notifications)
Update changelog and NEWS.
Fix whitespace in NEWS
Fix bashism in hotkey.sh
Listen only to netlink events; depend on acpid >= 1:2.0.0-1 since very old versions don't support netlink
