[Debian-eeepc-devel] 1201N : wifi : how the driver (alpha or beta) rtl8192se can be put into the staging drivers tree of the kernel ?

Hi,

on the 1201N there is a "new" wifi card and there is no available driver in
the kernel. On the net we can found a beta/alpha driver :
rtl8192se_linux_2.6.0010.1211.2009.tar.gz(see
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/%2Bsource/linux/%2Bbug/401126). My
question is : what are the conditions for a driver to be inserted into the
staging drivers tree of the kernel ?
