[Debian-eeepc-devel] second power button (1005P)

My 1005P has a second power button which, in the default configuration,
boots the DeviceVM "instant on" OS. Pushing it now just makes it wait a
little while, then give up and do a normal boot.

Does anyone understand what the firmware is actually trying to do
(e.g. load the second PBR instead of the MBR)? I'd find it quite useful
to be able to define a second default boot option.
