Thanks for taking care of this.

However, I wouldn't consider the bug closed. From my point of view the
upstream patch should be backported to Jessie. Right now, everyone being
on an IPv6-only network (like I am) is a little bit stuck with Debian
stable, as there is no workaround for the issue.
