Well, I mentioned it because in the bug report log I have seen only
openjdk-6-jre-headless, which is a bit less.  The current imagej
packages explicitely depend from openjdk-6-jre - so yes, you probably
installed this.

I have tested it under Squeeze in all uploaded packages and I never
observed anything similar as you reported.  So Squeeze version should
be sufficient.  (Upgrading to Squeeze might be a good idea anyway if
you do not have strong reasons not to upgrade.)

I do not think than > Squeeze is needed.

BTW, do you have access to a different machine and try imagej there?
