Hi Karsten,

could you please quote the full upstream mail about the GDCM/ITK issue?
It would make more sense to apply the patch to GDCM/ITK upstream if it
is needed / helpful to display "a whole range of studies".

Moreover it would be helpful to provide some example study which shows
the problem.  Perhaps you could upload an anonymised test case to some
place?
