Package: libdicomscope-jni
Version: 3.6.0-12
Severity: serious

Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package fails to upgrade from
'testing'.
It installed fine in 'testing', then the upgrade to 'sid' fails
because it tries to overwrite other packages files without declaring a
Breaks+Replaces relation.

See policy 7.6 at
https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-relationships.html#s-replaces

>From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...):

  Selecting previously unselected package libdicomscope-jni.
  Preparing to unpack .../libdicomscope-jni_3.6.0-12_amd64.deb ...
  Unpacking libdicomscope-jni (3.6.0-12) ...
dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/libdicomscope-jni_3.6.0-12_amd64.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/jni/libjInterface.so', which is also in package dicomscope 3.6.0-11

Also if the intention for the package split was co-installability of i386
and amd64, the new arch:any package needs to be Multi-Arch: same
(and the arch:all maybe needs to be Multi-Arch: foreign)

cheers,

Andreas
