Package: gbrowse
Version: 2.54+dfsg-6
Severity: normal
User: debian-perl at lists.debian.org
Usertags: perl-5.24-transition

Building this package triggers deprecation warnings with Perl 5.24
(currently in experimental), and probably with Perl 5.22 (current sid)
too.

Unescaped left brace in regex is deprecated, passed through in regex; marked by <-- HERE in m/\$ENV{ <-- HERE (\w+)}/ at /<<BUILDDIR>>/gbrowse-2.54+dfsg/t/../lib/Bio/Graphics/Browser2/DataSource.pm line 963, <DATA> line 192.

It looks like the offending file is installed in a binary package,
so presumably this can cause runtime warnings as well.

A full build log is available at
