This part is really strange because the package blends-common was installed
before and provides the file /etc/blends/blends.conf.

I just have set up a Lenny chroot, installed science-linguistics into
it, changed sources.list to point to squeeze instead of lenny and
installed the new version of science-linguistics. This perfectly worked
without any trouble. Do you have any hint how to reproduce this problem
manually?

Kind regards

     Andreas.
