Thanks.  I *suspect* it's something new in cmake 2.8.9-rc1, since gromacs built
perfectly well a month ago under cmake 2.8.8, and the MPI implementations
haven't changed in that time (and _both_ of them fail to build now), though I
won't be able to work on it for a day or two yet.
