Thank you for your suggestion. I should have done that. Here is the
release info.

    Tag: release/1.1.6
    commit: 55ee1cd30fdf52b0bc455788b2a532201a993077
    tar.gz: http://git.gniibe.org/gitweb/?p=gnuk/gnuk.git;a=snapshot;h=55ee1cd30fdf52b0bc455788b2a532201a993077;sf=tgz

In 2011, I had a practice of making a tar ball for Gnuk. After I
realized that there is a feature of snapshot tgz in gitweb, I just
make a tag for a release.

Tag is signed by my key of following:

    pub rsa2048/4CA7BABE 2010-10-15
          Key fingerprint = 1241 24BD 3B48 62AF 7A0A 42F1 00B4 5EBD 4CA7 BABE
uid NIIBE Yutaka <gniibe at fsij.org>
uid NIIBE Yutaka <gniibe at debian.org>

FYI, the release process is like this:

   (1) Update README, NEWS and VERSION (with ChangeLog).
   (2) Commit by 'git commit'
   (3) Make a tag with signature by 'git tag -s'.
   (4) Configure and build for FST-01.
   (5) Write gnuk.bin to FST-01 (by stlinkv2.py).
   (6) Run the tests by 'nosetests --with-freshen'
   (7) Update the firmware of my Gnuk Token of daily use (by update_by_passwd).
   (8) Get the off-line secret key to load onto the Gnuk Token.
   (9) Update www.gniibe.org/shop/ for products. Use the Gnuk Token
       to authenticate.
   (a) Update www.fsij.org/gnuk/ to have the announcement.
