As in, extracted the logic and put into the various bits of lintian,
where it would have been, if the check had been implemented in lintian
from day one  (I guess that was "copy/pasted the logic").
  Admittedly, I dropped the stackprotector check as it was not used by
default.  But I am happy to re-add it if someone is willing to port it
(commits 24da082..877cf3c might be useful as inspiration)
