thanks for fixing the bugs so fast. (i opened the bug for command line
parsing, not for my local selinux breakage, which works fine on the
second selinux machine of mine)

Don't care about my real problem i'll get down to that.
I guess it is SELinux related, but i'll look at your group permissions
suggestion. (Logcheck is already running in the logrotate domain, so it
should be able to read the log and write the offset files from that
point of view, but indeed the user/group rights may be wrong)
