Hi Stefanos,

you should mail to the NUT list, and try the megatec driver, which is only
available from subversion for the moment (but should be included in
the next stable release).

Carlos might give you some help with this driver.

Fentonups driver - FreeBSD 6.x

Dear Sir,

My name is Stefanos Sofroniou and I have sent you another email long time
ago
regards to my UPS. My UPS is UPSilon2000 and for some reason fentonups
driver
does not support it. I have tried various drivers with negative results.

This is what i get from it:

$ /usr/local/libexec/nut/upsdrvctl start
Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.0.3
Network UPS Tools - Fenton UPS driver 1.22 (2.0.3)
Unknown ups - please report this ID string: #ON-LINE 1000VA
H10R333
Detected Unknown 000VA on /dev/cuad0
$

I have changed permissions, onwer(s), created new group. I have tried
everything i know. I have red all mail list from 2005 until present. No
one
has answered / replied to me since May you forwarded my email to mail
list. I
need your help to solve my problem. I can't have my server shutdown
because
here in my area we have every now and then power failure issue. Most of
the
times that this issue's happening I am not home and fortunately previously

that I was using Windows i had the Windows program enable controlling
server.
Now that I have a FreeBSD dedicated server I cannot go back to Microsoft
just
for UPS usage.
I am sure that you can do something about it. I can't anything else, I
have
tried everything.
I hope you can do something about it.

Thank you very much

Stefanos Sofroniou
