[Nut-upsuser] Belkin F6H375 not seen by nut 2.2.1

Hi,
I'm wondering whether this could be the same issue I'm having. I emailed
about this about two weeks ago or so. I'm trying to get NUT to work with my
Unitek Alpha 1200sx. The driver is the megatec_usb one. When the driver does
successfully load, it seems to work fine. However, more often than not, the
driver fails to start with the following error message:

------------
[root at linux ups]# /sbin/upsdrvctl -DDDDD start
Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.2.0-
Starting UPS: unial1200
exec: /sbin/megatec_usb -a unial1200
Network UPS Tools 2.2.0- - Megatec protocol driver 1.5.4 [megatec_usb]
Carlos Rodrigues (c) 2003-2007

Serial-over-USB transport layer for Megatec protocol driver [megatec_usb]

Broadcast message from nut (Sun Jan 13 18:34:29 2008):

UPS unial1200 at localhost is unavailable
Megatec protocol UPS not detected.
Driver failed to start (exit status=1)
---------------

I'm using the NUT version bundled with Fedora 8. Is there anyway I can
verify if this is the same issue? Ideally I'd just like to compile/try a
different version of the driver and not install NUT entirely from source..

Many thanks,

Joe
