When the Raspberry Pi was announced in 2012, Python3 had already been available
for 6 years. When the X728 was announced (april 2020 ?), Python3 had been
around for 14 years, and Python2 was already dead.

There _are_ major projects which still run on Python2 and which havn't yet
migrated, e.g. Mailman 2.1.23 which is used for this mailing list.
