I can reproduce this bug on two different machines running Lenny
5.0.3, I tried debuild and it seems to work fine, but I CAN reproduce
the bug with dpkg-buildpackage. This bug is a fantom bug - sometimes
it can be reproduced and sometimes can not on the same machine. This
means that some of the things are broken - alsa patches or build
tools. I don't know exactly, but I built many packages with
dpkg-buildpackage w/o problems, and with alsa I get sometimes errors
like that.

I'd like to build alsa without asserts (with -DNDEBUG)
