In order for OnionShare to be made to work with the default Tor
configuration in Debian, this issue [1] needs to get solved. But I have
hopes that a future release of Tor will let users retrieve the .onion
hostname through the control port, rather than needing to read a file
from the filesystem that's only readably by debian-tor [2].

So, when one of those two things happens, OnionShare can work with the
system Tor and not require Tor Browser.
