Summary:

 * mounting drives to one of the supported locations will solve the
   first problem;
 * my fix for the second problem was finally merged upstream:
   https://code.launchpad.net/~intrigeri/apparmor-profiles/+git/apparmor-profiles/+merge/310120
   I've applied this change in Vcs-Git, will upload shortly.
