I monkeyed around with the patch from upstream GIT and our local patch 
and it /looks/ ok, but I currently have no idea if it *is* ok.

Before any testing can be done the install-dbconfig script needs 
enhancing. (Which is why I have been pushing with "-o ci.skip" 
currently. Nothing to test here currently.)
