Hi Ahmed,

i am trying to build gwave from source under raspbian (seems to be 
derived from "debian jessie"). I downloaded "gwave2-20090213.tar.gz"
from sourceforge and applied the debian-patches found in 
"gwave_20090213-3.debian.tar.gz" and your patch found at 
"http://sourceforge.net/p/gwave/patches/3/". But that does not solve the 
errors while build :( So i created some additional patches, which leads 
to a program, which runs, creates a Gtk-window, and does not segfault 
while running. That's one little step forward, but there is more to do 
-> the main-menu is missing in my program. Maybe some of my patches are 
useful to get this fine software ported to guile-2.0, but my knowledge 
about guile is nearly zero :( Maybe someone has the knowledge to do the 
next step... Please let me know, if this happens -> I need "gwave", 
"gaw" (from http://www.rvq.fr/linux/gaw.php) does not recognize the 
dataformats created by "ngspice" :(

Take parts of the patches als you like!

Some maybe useful hints:

Don't try to run the "gwave"-executabe created in the src-directory 
without a "make install" before -> It may segfault.

Use switches "-x -n -v" on the commandline at the first start of 
"gwave". This will display the compiling of the guile-scripts, which may 
last several minutes.

I also tried your "guile2.0"-patch found in 
"gwave_20090213-6.debian.tar.xz": Yes, defining the variable 
"scm_the_last_stack_fluid_var" removes the compiler-message, but the 
resulting program segfaultes immediately ;)
