[Pkg-fedora-ds-maintainers] 389 DS for Debian+

Hello,

I'm playing around with the (great!) 389 DS packages for Debian, and I
notice a couple of things I was hoping you could share some insight on;

- libsoftokn3.so (in /usr/lib/nss/) is not available in the standard ld
paths, which seems to be resolved by adding /usr/lib/nss/ to a new file
/etc/ld.so.conf.d/nss.conf and running ldconfig.

I first ran in to this error when running 'setup-ds-admin' -
libsoftokn3.so is needed to run the admin server. How would one go about
definitively resolving such issue, normally?

- The admin server seems to only work with apache2-mpm-worker, and not
with apache2-mpm-prefork(?) but it seems both are mutually exclusive
packages(?). I can only install one, *or* the other. When I first ran
'setup-ds-admin' (after resolving the libsoftokn3.so issue), the
following came onto my screen:

> Starting admin server . . .
> output: [Wed Jun 06 12:27:24 2012] [notice] Not using a threaded
> server. The Admin Server authorization cache will not work correctly.
> Console and Admin
> Server tasks will be disabled if the configuration directory server
> is not available.
> output: WARNING: MaxClients of 64 exceeds ServerLimit value of 1
> servers,
> output: lowering MaxClients to 1. To increase, please see the
> ServerLimit
> output: directive.
> output: Syntax error on line 105 of
> /etc/dirsrv/admin-serv/httpd.conf:
> output: Invalid command 'MinSpareThreads', perhaps misspelled or
> defined by a module not included in the server configuration
> output: httpd (pid 8351) already running

> problems
> Could not start the admin server. Error: 256
> Could not reconfigure the admin server.
> Exiting . . .

Thank you in advance,

Kind regards,

Jeroen van Meeuwen
