Thanks for the pointers and the patch. Most of it will be included in
the upcoming upload. The only thing I am not sure about is syslog
usage. I don't think firebird uses syslog (it logs to
/var/log/firebird2.1.log, by itself). Can you tell me how did you
determine this?
