Hello.

The problem stems from this stanza in the post-installation script.

        if [ -n "$2" ] && dpkg --compare-versions "$2" lt "0.10"
        then
                # After 0.10 nodm/xinit is not needed anymore
                db_unregister nodm/xinit
        fi

When I added an 'echo' in front of db_unregister, everything worked fine.

I suspect that nodm/xinit ... isn't "registered".  But I don't know
what that means, so, I'll just post this!
