Heavily outdated package FCEU (NES emulator): new maintainer required?

Hi Debian Games Team

I am wondering if your team could also become the maintainer of package 
*fceu* which is a great lightweight NES emulator?

The existing package maintainer Joe Nahmias (jello at debian.org) seems not 
to be active anymore. Package *fceu* is heavily outdated and therefore 
has many open bug reports which all will be solved by just updating the 
package to the latest version 2.2.1.1. This version compiles without any 
issues on Debian testing.

I would be happy to help but I am struggling getting used to the Debian 
packaging process. Thanks in advance for your consideration.
