Since it's gone two weeks without comment, I'll go ahead and sponsor this.  
The patch is fine, but I reverted adding you to uploaders since that's not 
strictly speaking a necessary part of a minimal change to fix the RC bug.  You 
can sort that out with Miriam for the next upload.
