For a window manager or session manager to show up as an option in gdm, the
window manager package needs to provide a file in /usr/share/xsessions that
describes the manager, and what command is needed to run it.  kdm includes
an openbox.desktop that might be a useful starting point, or you could look
at some of the other packages that include files in /usr/share/xsessions.
