Bug#259498: nautilus goes nuts when I click on a .jpg but no viewer is associated

Package: nautilus
Version: 2.6.3-2

I'm running nautilus on top of fluxbox occassionally
with

$ /usr/bin/nautilus --no-desktop /home/greg

The problem:

When I click on a .jpg, nautilus opens up a desktop
window to cover my fluxbox root window. Then it brings
up an error msg window with "Can't Display Location"
in the title bar, which says

"Couldn't display "/home/greg/filename.jpg. Nautilus
has no installed viewer capable of displaying the
file"

Then I can't exit nautilus. If I try to kill the main
nautilus PPID, I get booted out of xwindows (once it
just did nothing, sorry, this part seems to be
irregular). If I kill a child pid, it kills all the
nautilus PIDs and I am out of nautilus.

But I would say the main problem is that nautilus
should not start a 'desktop' window upon reaching
error code if it was started with --no-desktop.

Otherwise, great job with the new version & keep up
the good work maintaining this!

*** NOTE: the exact same problem occurs when I run
