Package: libgtk2.0-0
Version: 2.4.13-1
Severity: normal

When using a qwerty keyboard (also with azerty but not very important
then) one cannot generate c cedilla(ç) with the "normal" sequence which
is: '\'c' (remove non-escaped quotes)

In X in general, one can use this. But currently gtk seems to implement
it as the accent on 'é' (but then for c, not that I cannot even type
this character in the console on the same machine). This is a pretty
useless character altogether and I think the package would benefit from
using the same (or approximately the same) keybindings for deadkeys as X
does.

I am closing the bug, our discussion below shows there is no bug, but
 lack of documentation.
